I started working at Goedgedacht in 2003 and built Goedgedacht Trading from the ground up. I have a B.BusAdmin degree and have had training in Italy in olive propagation, olive grove management and olive oil making. I have qualified as an Olive Oil Taster from the International Olive Oil Council and am the MD of this company.
Michael van den Langenbergh
is our Factory Manager and he brings 12yrs experience in oil making to the company. Michael has beaten some of the best oil producers in the world to win awards in the US, Israel and Italy and we were excited by his move to Goedgedacht in 2016. He is also a certified oil taster through the International Olive Oil Councils tasting system.
who joined the company in 2013 has 19 years of Advertising experience and a wide range of valuable skills. She is our operations manager and heads up our NPD team.

Jan la Meyer
is our Farm Supervisor and is the epitome of a loyal, trustworthy and hardworking man who single handedly looks after all our commercial farming operations. We are very proud of what Jan has achieved in a short space of time. He leads his farming team from the front.
The rest of our hardworking and loyal team are drawn from the local communities of Riebeek Kasteel and Riebeek West. Both these communities have suffered badly under slavery, colonialism and more recently apartheid. They all have high hopes and huge aspirations to help themselves and their families find a way out of the endless poverty cycles that have impoverished rural communities in this part of the world. They make up our food handling team at the factory, as well as farm workers who care for our olive groves.
